Gianna Marco, DVM

My name is Dr. Gianna Marco. I am currently an Associate IndeVet and am very excited to be working closely with Illiana Veterinary Hospital. I am honored to be helping care for your four-legged family members. 

I earned my Bachelor in Animal Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry at the University of Champaign-Urbana in 2014. I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 2019. My interests and passions include individualized care for my patients, preventative care, nutrition, and dentistry. I am Fear Free Certified, trained in Acupuncture and Certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine Food Therapy.

In my free time I enjoy baking, reading, crochet and spending time outdoors with my husband and children. Our little family includes a Chesapeake Bay Retriever (named Goose, but affectionately called Gee by the kids), three honey bee hives, two frogs, and five guppies.
